4th Edition of the Trophée Jean-Jacques Dietrich

The Académie Culinaire de France USA & Canada is proud to present the 4th edition of the Trophée Jean-Jacques Dietrich, a prestigious culinary competition honoring the legacy, excellence, and transmission of French gastronomy.
Held on April 4th at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York, this year’s edition brought together five talented candidates, each demonstrating remarkable skill, creativity, and dedication to the craft. The competition was organized under the esteemed sponsorship of Guillaume Gomez, Meilleur Ouvrier de France and Ambassador of French Gastronomy, alongside Chef Christophe Marguin, President of the Competition and President of the Toque Blanche Lyonnaise, and Pascal Guillotin, Jury President and President of the Société Culinaire Philanthropique. This event continues to serve as a platform to promote excellence, mentorship, and the values of French culinary tradition, while supporting the next generation of chefs in North America.

Born in 1984, Chef Propst is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (Class of 2006). His remarkable performance earned him the honor of representing Team USA at the prestigious Trophée Passion International in Paris in 2028, marking an important milestone in his professional journey.
