These criteria were established and voted on by the members of the Board of Directors on November 18, 2023. The following nine (9) main criteria provide a comprehensive framework for the evaluation of candidates for the Academy Trophy, covering professional excellence , commitment to the values of the ACF, educational leadership, philanthropy, role as an exemplary model, financial integrity, adherence to the philosophy of the academy, contribution to its development and influence on French culinary heritage.
Criterion: Distinguished achievements in their professional career. Explanation: Valorization of excellence in the candidate's culinary achievements, constituting a basis for their eligibility.
Criterion: Dedicated commitment and active support to actions undertaken by the ACF. Explanation: Importance given to the candidate's alignment with the core values and mission of the ACF.
Criterion: Active involvement in mentoring future generations of young chefs. Explanation: Recognition of the importance of educational leadership and promoting the professional growth of future culinary professionals.
Criterion: Demonstrated commitments and active participation in charitable events. Explanation: Recognition of the candidate's commitment to making a positive impact through philanthropy.
Criterion: Embodying a model not only within the Academy but also for all those associated with it. Explanation: Recognition of the candidate's influence and inspiration as a role model in the culinary community.
Criterion: Good performance in terms of obligations and contributions. Explanation: Assurance of financial integrity as a fundamental eligibility criterion.
