A national event federating all the French culinary “Know-How” and making it possible to promote French Cuisine was necessary in the United States, we also wanted to promote young chefs, discover new talent and encourage them to pursue in their carrer.
The USA Delegation of the ACF in partnership with the ministere de l’agriculture has created The “Trophy Culinaire du President Jean-Jacques Dietrich” a culinary competition for young professional chefs.
The contest is a Tribute to our late President who was a chef and an educator for over 60 years.
This event celebrate the french culinary heritage that was recognized by the UNESCO.
To be able to be part of this contest you must be between the age of 25 and 35 and work in the USA.
The winner of the trophy culinaire Jean Jacques Dietrich will represent the us in France for the Trophee Passion International a culinary contest organized by the Academie Culinaire de France where 12 countries are competing against each other to be the best in the world.
This contest is to celebrate the French culinary know how and discover young new talent in the culinary art.
